As Q4 continues, we are looking at the year as it has unfolded so far, and among the chaos we see some very clear patterns…
Culture is still and will continue to be everything. Curation and intention grow increasingly important to cut through the noise. Building “good culture” and what that means for you is elusive yet fixes problems at their root. Culture is more impactful than bribing and luring, it builds safety, security and happiness.
As one generation prepares to hand off to another, we are seeing more leadership turnover, people are getting out of the office and turning toward a remote or digital nomad lifestyle. While office work is stabilizing, there isn’t an answer as to how this will play out, but it is happening all the same.
Real Estate decisions should be approached like car buying. The price you paid was a deal the moment you signed, but 3 minutes later, someone will tell you they have a better deal. Please, sign your leases and move on – there will always be a better one but in the meantime, time is happening and you are not getting anywhere.
Using the excuse of AI to have layoffs is still insulting. Honesty and transparency is needed. Help others grow, help others hear reality, but the message that you are going to lay off people and have your remaining employees compensate for the work, with the idea that AI can make up the difference, is not right.
At Cultura, we are looking forward to the year’s end, to celebration, and to spending time with each other and cultivating our culture. Welcome to Disco Ball Fall!
