We are refreshing our office space to suit the needs of our current team. We feel that a functional, working space intended for long-term use and benefit for the people that work in it is the best way to show what we do for our clients every day.
The Showroom is Dead
Imagine a furniture showroom. What do you see? Endless rows of couches, harsh lighting, forgotten warehouse spaces gathering dust. In a showroom, furniture serves no function beyond display. Cultura is a company dedicated to culture-building, we work with you to help you get the most out of your space. We create places where people want to work, and we do not want to work in a showroom.
Welcome to the Cultura Workshop
The Cultura office is the antithesis of the showroom. It is a place for you to build a place to love, and a workplace where we live to work. It is a dynamic place of collaboration and gathering. We invite people to our space for connection: we entertain, we hold meetings, we do great work. Our office is the place where we put your space together, where we do what we do best, it is our workshop.
Some of the most influential art and design movements of the 1900s were oriented toward the idea of the working space, the workshop, the collective. Omega Workshops in London started as a place for artisans to craft and sell their furniture. Its lasting influence would later come to define the Arts and Crafts furniture movement. The workshop is a celebration of the functional space geared toward connection, creativity, and productivity.
The Office as a Tool in the Age of AI
As our world becomes more efficient and more driven by technology, we welcome these changes, but we also understand that connection is essential to the performance and happiness of our human employees. Our synergy as people, the cultivation of company culture and long-term benefit, is inextricable from the message of what it means to be a workshop.
For 12 years, we have strived to be at the frontier of workplace design in both philosophy and execution. We believe that this mindset shift is essential, and that, years from now, we will understand just how much has changed in regards to the way we view the office as a place of collaboration and intention. If you are looking to elevate your space, retrain top talent, and take your company to the next level, we invite you to explore the idea of the workshop and what it could mean for you.
